After a year and a half away from the workforce, I’m realizing just how much the job market has changed. The process feels less human than ever. Rejection emails arrive at two in the morning, thank-you messages go unanswered, and every application feels like a conversation with a computer instead of a person. It’s exhausting, but it’s also awakening. This season has taught me that persistence is not just about getting hired. It’s about remembering your worth even when the system forgets you’re human.
